Life is Bountiful

Put aside – fear of not deserving
Put aside – fear of jealousy
Put aside – fear of fear
Abundance is given to all who ask
Abundance is promised to all who accept
Abundance is God’s gift to all who lovingly share
A Pair of Bears
We are bears of a pair
and don’t have a care.
We have coarse brown fur
but we don’t purr.
We love to eat honey
but it doesn’t cost money.
We live in a den
but come out now and then.
In the winter we sleep
so don’t make a peep.
We are big and tough
and we take no guff.
We are bears of a pair
so you should take care.

Red & Green Parrot
I’m a red and green parrot
and would love to eat a carrot.
But I looked around and one could be found.
Sometimes you’ll see me in someone’s home
but I’d rather be out where I can roam.
I normally eat lots of fruit and seeds
they fill up all my hungry needs.
I have neat clawed fee to hold all I can eat
and feathers of red that cover my head.
I can screech real loud ’cause I feel very proud
I’m a tropical bird that can really be heard.

Lions
When you meet a lion
he won’t be sighing
he’ll make a roar
that would knock
down a door.
King of the Jungle
is his real nickname
because he’s so bold
and has no shame.
His mane is wild
and very large almost as big
as a towboat barge.
He’s Lord of the Jungle
and King of the Beasts
don’t let him catch you
or you’ll be his feast.

Wally, The Walrus
My name is Wally the Walrus
I have never ridden on a crowded school bus.
I float around on chunks of ice
because I think it feels really nice.
Sometimes I sit on cold, gray rocks
but I have no need for thick wool socks.
My tusks are long – big and white
I always brush them every night.
I am proud of my tusks and how they look
I think I’ll have my picture took!

The Clownfish
I’m a silly red fish and they call me a clown
because I’m happy and never do frown.
I love to swim and splash around
I am very bright and can always be found.
I have not fee, but that’s a treat
I swim everywhere so I don’t really care.
I live in the water that’s warm and blue
I’m very healthy and never have flu.

The Rain
Where would we be without the rain?
Drip, drop, split, splat
mist as fine as angel dust.
The torrents, the pounding
the thunder, the roar.
The gentleness, the coolness
riding on a breeze.
Lifeblood of man, bird and beast.
Mother to the flowers, fragrant and sweet.
Father to the oceans, rivers and streams.
Heart to the fields, grass strong and tall.
Spirit to the soil, dark, damp and fertile.

People
There are people who look
There are people that see
There are people who listen
There are people that hear
There are people who talk
There are people that speak
There are people who are

Love Comes from Within
It hurts to not love yourself
it hurts to not like yourself
it hurts to not understand yourself.
The love, the kindness
the understanding
only come from within.
It comes from the heart
the soul, the Spirit
all living within yourself.

Location Unknown
I love your caress
the gentle touch of your hand
the warmth of you body next to mine.
I love the time we spend together
in a place that has no name.
There are no crowds or traffic jams
it can be found almost anywhere.
Location unknown
no street signs point the way
but easily found by two people in love.
I cherish the time we spend together.
Time spent sharing, time spent caring,
location found only by loving hearts.

Love Never Dies
Love never dies,
it just gets put aside
blurred by years of life.
It lives so quiet and deep in your heart
waiting for time, waiting for caring
waiting to renew passion and joy.
Love needs to be embraced
love needs to shout
love needs to hear whispers of caring.
Love never dies
it’s a patient tenant of heart and soul.

Penguins
Penguins are half black and penguins are half white
there’s nothing about them that would cause a fright.
It looks pretty nifty to be fifty-fifty!
They make us laugh, they make us giggle
it must be the way they seem to wiggle.
They swim in the water, they waddle on ice
they really seem to be very nice!
Next time you see a penguin with orange feet
tell him you know that he’s really neat!
