Snowflakes Fall Silently to the Ground

Snowflakes fall silently to the ground

hundreds of shapes and sizes are found.

Each glistening diamond quietly touches down

as snow flakes grow into a beautiful mound.

It’s a trick to our eyes that a most common sight

is quickly transformed into a winter delight.
