Looking for a Poem

Sitting and writing
at the old computer
hoping the poem
will come out cuter.
I stare and look
at the window and wall
hoping an idea
will arrive before fall.
There’s so much to think about
so much to write
sometimes I get mixed up
or my brain’s too tight.
But soon comes a thought
I want to share
something I know
will make people care.
A little reminder
how great life can be
if we only take time,
open our eyes to see.
