Just Went to the Store
Just went to the store to buy some more.
But it got a little tricky as I got picky.
I browsed and looked through those aisles on foot.
Pushing my cart but not feeling real smart.
The soups were piled up but not right for my cup.
The potatoes had eyes so they weren’t good buys.
I came to the meat thought, what should I eat?
The hot dogs looked green so I knew there were mean.
The chops were packed all squished in a rack.
The steaks looked bold but a few days too old.
So I left the store even though I wanted more.
It’s peanut butter and jelly always good for the belly.
