Going Away

I’m so sad you’re going away.
I’ll look forward to hearing from you, another day.
I’ll keep your memories close at heart
that way it won’t seem like we’re really apart.
I’ll picture you playing on a sunny beach
you won’t be gone long, just out of reach.
When you come back we’ll write again
have lots of photos and stories to send.
