The New Coat
The New Coat
Winter is coming
there’s a chill in the air
the weatherman said
you better beware.
I’m not very big
have short white hair
Mom said
I better prepare.
She put on my coat
I would stand and stare
I looked just like
a cute woolly bear.
It really felt warm
hangs on the chair
on cold windy days
it’s what I wear.
